Schools
In the UK, children start primary school in September after their 4th birthday. They start secondary school in September after their 11th birthday.
You will need to apply for a school place here if you have a child aged 3-16.

2 - 4 year olds
If you are on a low income, you can get free childcare for children from 2 years old. This means they can go to a nursery or preschool. Find out more here
Babies and Toddlers
There are lots of groups in Beeston for babies and toddlers to attend with a parent. Here they can play with other children and you can meet other parents. Most of these groups are free or have a small charge to cover food and drinks provided. Almost all these groups are run by community centres and Churches.
